Code of Conduct

At its core, Tao is a place where people help people succeed in their work life. We are a positive community where people help one another, not judge one another, where people challenge, coach, and provide constructive feedback to one another, expand each other’s universe of new options, and provide paths and open networks to achieve these options. As such, Taors ask of one another that we all essentially follow the golden rule. Of course –we have to frame it in the “do’s and don’ts” below – but the core concept is simple: treat others like you yourself wish to be treated.
All users of www.Tao.ai, our mobile app, and all products, services, communications, and offerings provided by Tao (a part of AnalyticsWeek.com) must strictly adhere to the following:
Dos. You agree that you will:

  • Strive to abide by the Golden Rule to treat others as you would like to be treated – specifically please treat other Members and other users of the Sites with respect;
  • Strive to provide positive support and energy to the community
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including, without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements;
  • Provide accurate and truthful information to us and keep it updated;
  • Use your real name on your profile;
  • Use the Services in a professional manner; and
  • Have fun and leverage all tools and services to drive success in your worklife!
Dont's. You agree that you will not:
  • Negatively impact other Members and the Tao community, including:
    • Bully, harass, abuse, harm, or insult any Member or other user of the Site
  • Misrepresent yourself or others, including:
    • Misrepresent your positions, qualifications, or affiliations;
    • Act dishonestly or unprofessionally, including by posting inappropriate, inaccurate, or objectionable content, creating a false identity, or using an image or head-shot photo that is not actually you;
    • Use a pseudonym;
    • Create a Member profile for anyone other than yourself or the organization which you represent, as applicable;
    • Use or attempt to use another's account, and, if you are an organization, provide access to the Services through your account to any person who is not your employee or contractor;
    • Imply or state that you are affiliated with or endorsed by us without our express consent;
  • Violate others’ rights, including:
    • Disclose information that you do not have the right to disclose;
    • Violate intellectual property or privacy/publicity rights of others;
    • Violate our or our affiliates’ or subsidiaries’ intellectual property or other rights, including, without limitation, using the word “Tao” or our logos in any business name, email, or URL;
    • Copy, modify, create derivative works of, or use the information, content, technology, or data available on the Site or Services (except as expressly authorized);
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Services or any related technology, or any part thereof;
    • Imply or state that you are affiliated with or endorsed by us without our express consent (e.g., representing yourself as an accredited Tao trainer);
    • Rent, lease, loan, trade, sell/re-sell access to the Services or related any information or data;
    • Sell, sponsor, or otherwise monetize a Member community conversation or forum (“Group”) or any other feature of the Services, without our prior written consent;
    • Deep-link to our Services for any purpose other than to promote your profile or a Group on the Site, without our prior written consent;
    • Remove, cover, or obscure any advertisement, copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on our Site or Service;
  • Communicate in a non-professional manner, including:
    • Post any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation unauthorized by us;
    • Post anything that contains software viruses, worms, or any other harmful code;
    • Manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any message or post transmitted through the Services;
    • Create profiles or provide content that promotes escort services, prostitution or human trafficking.
  • Attempt to manipulate the Sites or Services, including:
    • Use manual or automated software, devices, scripts robots, other means or processes to access, “scrape,” “crawl” or “spider” the Services or any related data or information;
    • Use bots or other automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages;
    • Monitor the Services’ availability, performance or functionality for any competitive purpose;
    • Engage in “framing,” “mirroring,” or otherwise simulating the appearance or function of the Services;
    • Access the Services except through the interfaces expressly provided by us, such as our mobile applications and the Site;
    • Override any security feature of the Services; or
    • Hack, manipulate, interfere with the operation of, place an unreasonable load on, or otherwise attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services (e.g., spam, denial of service attack, viruses, gaming algorithms).
  • Otherwise act unlawfully
